TARAWEEH-13

Taraweeh 13

Surah : Kahf 10 to 12

πŸ’πŸ’ With Khizr a.s having killed a boy, Musa exclaims how he could kill an innocent person. Surely he has done a horrible thing.

πŸ’πŸ’ Khizr reminds Musa about their agreement that Musa would not question his actions, and Musa confirms not to question again.

πŸ’πŸ’ They come to a town and ask for food but no one take them as guests. They find a wall on the point of falling down and Khizr restores it.

πŸ’πŸ’ Musa wonders and asks why Khizr did not take wages for it.

πŸ’πŸ’ Khizr says “That’s it; this is the parting between you and me”. He then explains about the actions he committed.

πŸ’πŸ’ The damage to boat was to prevent a king who was seizing boats by force from the poor fishermen.

πŸ’πŸ’ As for the youth, his parents were true believers, and the boy was a rebel and a disbeliever. Allah would grant to the parents, a son more righteous and better in affection.

πŸ’πŸ’ As for the wall, it belonged to 2 orphan boys and beneath it their treasure was buried. Since their father was a righteous man, Allah desired that the treasure be protected and the children should take it after they reach maturity.

πŸ’πŸ’ All this was done as a mercy from Allah. This is the interpretation of those actions which Musa a.s could not bear to watch with patience.

πŸ’πŸ’ Story of Dhul Qarnain – Allah had established his power in the land and gave him all kinds of ways and means.

πŸ’πŸ’ Once, he went on an expedition and arrived at a place between two mountains where the people could hardly understand his language.

πŸ’πŸ’ The people requested him to build a wall in the mountain so it would prevent Yajuj and Majuj from ravaging the land.

πŸ’πŸ’ Dhul Qarnain agreed to build the wall with the help of some workers, and he made like a dam between the two mountains with Iron.

πŸ’πŸ’ This was a strong barrier and a blessing from Allah. But Dhul Qarnain warned that when the promise of Allah comes to pass(Day of Resurrection), it will be levelled to the ground and the people will be let loose to surge like waves on one another.

πŸ’πŸ’ O Muhammad (saws), tell them, “If the waters of the ocean were ink with which to write the Words of my Rabb, the ocean would be consumed before the Words (Praises of Allah) are finished, even if Allah were to bring another ocean of similar quantity to replenish it”.

πŸ’πŸ’ Whoever hopes to meet Allah, let him do good deeds and join no other deity in the worship of Allah.

Surah: Maryam – Section 1

πŸ’πŸ’ Kaf Ha Ya Ayn Sad. This is a reminder of blessings that Allah bestowed on his servant Zakariyyah.

πŸ’πŸ’ Zakariyyah prayed for a child who would inherit his legacy and who would be a righteous person.

πŸ’πŸ’ Allah accepts his prayer and gives good news of a son, Yahya (John).

πŸ’πŸ’ Allah granted Yahya wisdom while he was still a boy and also granted him kindness and purity.

πŸ’πŸ’ He grew up a pious man, dutiful to his parents and he was neither arrogant nor disobedient.

Surah : Maryam 2 to 6

🌸🌸 Story of Maryam a.s – News of a righteous son is given to Maryam by an Angel.

🌸🌸 Maryam says – “How can I bear a son when no man has ever touched me nor am I unchaste”.

🌸🌸 The Angel says, so it shall be. Allah wishes to make him a sign for mankind and a blessing from Allah.

🌸🌸 The pains of child birth drove her to the trunk of a palm-tree and an angel consoled her “Do not grieve! Allah has provided water at your feet. If you shake the trunk of the palm tree, it will drop fresh ripe dates. So drink and refresh yourself”.

🌸🌸 Maryam carried the baby to her people who expressed the news as something hard to believe and kept questioning her.

🌸🌸 Maryam pointed to the baby and it spoke “I am indeed a servant of Allah. He has given me the Book and made me a Prophet, and blessed me and commanded me to establish Salaah and give Zakat. Allah has exhorted me to honour my mother and not to be arrogant, disobedient”.

🌸🌸 Such was Isa a.s (Jesus Christ), son of Maryam. This is a true statement about him concerning which they are in doubt.

🌸🌸 Isa a.s declared that verily Allah is my Rabb and your Rabb, therefore serve him.

🌸🌸 Conversation of Ibrahim a.s with his father – “O my father! Why do you worship something that can neither see you nor hear you.

🌸🌸 O my father! I have been given knowledge and I shall guide you to the Right Way.

🌸🌸 O my father! Do not worship Shaitaan for he is disobedient to Allah.

🌸🌸 O my father! I fear that a punishment from Allah may afflict you and you may become a friend of Shaitaan”.

🌸🌸 Ibrahim’s father says, “Be gone, and if you do not stop this folly, I will stone you to death”.

🌸🌸 Ibraheem says, “Peace be upon you, I will pray to my Rabb for your forgiveness. I am leaving you and all those deities whom you invoke, besides Allah”.

🌸🌸 Allah granted to Ibraheem descendants like Ishaaq and Yaqoob. Allah granted them the honour of being mentioned with true high respect.

🌸🌸 Story of Musa and him being called from the right side of Mount Toor for exclusive conversation.

🌸🌸 Allah made his brother Haroon a Prophet and his assistant.

🌸🌸 Story of Ismail – He was a man of his word. He commanded his people to establish Salaah and give charity and Allah was well pleased with him.

🌸🌸 Story of Idrees – a truthful man, a Prophet and whom Allah had raised to a lofty place.

🌸🌸 These were some of the Prophets, who whenever the Revelations were recited, they fell in tears prostrating to Allah. (Sajdah)

🌸🌸 On that Day, Allah will gather all the disbelievers along with their shaitaans and set them on their knees around the fire of hell.

🌸🌸 There is not a single one of you, who shall not pass over the fire of Hell.

🌸🌸 Saying Allah has begotten a son is so monstrous, that the very heavens might crack, the earth cleave asunder and mountains crumble to pieces.

🌸🌸 Allah has made the Quran easy in your own language so that you may give good news to the righteous and warn headstrong folks.

Surah : Ta-Ha 1 to 3

🐚🐚 Allah is One to Whom you need not speak aloud, for He knows what is said in secret and what is yet more hidden.

🐚🐚 The story of Musa – While on a journey with his family, he saw a fire and he reached there.

🐚🐚 Allah spoke to him – O Musa, take off your shoes, you are in the sacred valley of Tuwa.

🐚🐚 News of Musa as being the chosen one from Allah and as a Prophet.

🐚🐚 Signs given to Musa – his staff which turns into a snake and his hand which comes out shining white from under his armpit.

🐚🐚 Musa is asked to go to Firaun with these signs. Musa prays (Rabbishrahli saddri…). Allah grants his request and appoints Haroon as his minister.

🐚🐚 Allah reminds about the time when he inspired Musa’s mother to put him into into the river on a chest(basket).

🐚🐚 Then it got picked up by Firaun’s family and he grew in their care.

🐚🐚 Then through Musa’s sister, Allah got her to inform Firaun’s wife about a woman who can take care of the child, and got Musa’s mother back to him.

🐚🐚 Musa reaches Firaun and conveys the message about Oneness of Allah and about Allah’s creations.

🐚🐚 When Musa showed Firaun the signs, Firaun said it was magic and challenged Musa.

🐚🐚 The Day of festival was fixed for the challenge between Musa and the magicians of the kingdom.

🐚🐚 Musa asked the magicians to present their magic and they threw down their cords and staff which started moving because of their magic.

🐚🐚 Allah comforted Musa to not be afraid. Musa then threw down his staff and it became a serpent which swallowed up all the magic that was produced.

🐚🐚 The magicians realised that this was not magic but a miracle, so they humbled themselves by prostrating and said that they believe in the Rabb of Haroon and Musa.

🐚🐚 Firaun was furious and said that he would cut off their hands and feet from either side, and crucify them on the trunks of palm trees.

🐚🐚 The magicians replied that they can never prefer Firaun over the miracle they have witnessed.

🐚🐚 The Firaun can punish them only in this worldly life. Allah’s reward is better and his punishment more severe.
