One of the best ways to reduce stress and get rid of mental anguish is by sending Salaams upon our beloved Prophet
In the hadith of Ubay b. Ka’b, he suggested to the Prophet that he would dedicate all of his dhikr in sending ṣalawāt upon him. The Prophet said, “In that case, all of your worries will be taken care of, and all of your sins forgiven” (Reported by al-Tirmidhi)
From this hadith, we learn that sending ṣalawats is the primary ways to rid us of stress and to bring peace and comfort to all of us!
So say Allahumma salli ‘ala Muhammadin wa aali Muhammad (O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad).
